The
The people of West Side Church responded amazingly to the urgent need in Haiti. Over $37,000 was collected for the Haitian relief and rebuilding efforts! These funds will be sent to both Samaritan’s Purse and Missions Door. Two well known and respected agencies with long track records in Haiti.
How will these funds be used? Samaritan’s Purse is able to purchase 90 days of medical supplies for 10,000 people with their portion of the relief fund. Missions Door will be oversee the rebuilding of several Haitian churches.
Continue to pray for Haiti as the rebuilding begins. The news crews will soon leave the tiny island nation. Americans will become distracted by "more pressing" events, but the need will continue to be there.
